Monitoring Results
Despite the cold, damp, unpromising weather conditions
prevalent during the spring, the Ruthven Park
Nestbox Monitoring Program yielded record results.
The number of fledged Eastern Bluebirds and Tree
Swallows were much higher than last year, and a new
species, Barn Swallow, was added to the list of species
banded during the program.
